To Mike's Friends:

As some of you already know, Mike passed away Friday, May 6 at 8:30pm.  I feel he went very peacefully knowing his family was with him as well as knowing all his friends were thinking of him.  His family has asked me to invite everyone to the service as well as to his sister's house afterwards for a celebration of everything Mike was and will always be.

 The information is as follows:  The service will be held on Saturday, May 21, at 11:30am at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel.  1139 Saranap Ave.  Walnut Creek.  925-934-5400.  Gathering afterwords at Jennifer Moore's house in Concord.  (maps will be available at the service).

  Please feel free to bring any pictures, videos and your wonderful stories of Mike.  (there were many!)  In lieu of flowers, Mike's family has requested that donations be made to either The American Cancer Society, or the Hospice of Contra Costa.  (can be done on line).  Colin Cross will be taking care of getting Mike's Candle on the SCCA/SFR web site and a formal obituary will be in the San Francisco Chronicle a week before the service, as well as in the Contra Costa Times.  I am also including his parents and sisters address if anyone wishes to send cards, etc.

I've never done this before so hope this is all ok and any help is greatly appreciated.  I'm so glad Mike had so many awesome friends.  I've attached one of my favorite pictures.  (of course I'm partial!)  Once again, I'm sorry for the sad news and hope to see everyone soon.
